On April 6, 2021, Nanostone Water’s Business Development Director Aatman Shah delivered a speech of “Improved economics and reliability for SWRO pretreatment operations using novel ceramic filtration technology”, and provided insights into the challenges within the pretreatment of SWRO systems, and the positive impact ceramic membranes are anticipated to bring to optimize capital investment and footprint through innovative pretreatment system design, and reduce operating and lifecycle costs through streamlined pretreatment operation. Preliminary data from a recent desalination pilot was also reviewed.
