Nanostone Water Inc. is pleased to announce an expansion of its organization in the MENA region in order to better serve clients in the desalination, industrial water, and wastewater reuse markets.

Nanostone announced that Ali Ben Haj Hamida has been named CEO of MENA, responsible for business development activities across the region. Ali most recently served as Business Development Director for the Middle East and Africa for Suez Water Technologies and Solutions, responsible for business development activities including managing the high-level government relationships and major projects across the region. Before his current role, Ali served in several increasingly expansive sales roles with GE Water & Process Technologies and its successor, Suez Water Technologies and Solutions. He has been working in the Middle East for over 30 years.

Ali is based out of the Nanostone Dubai office and will work closely with Omar Al-Khudari and the rest of the team to build relationships and expand Nanostone’s business throughout the MENA region.

“I am delighted and humbled to be part of Nanostone Water. I am privileged to lead the MENA team and work with a fantastic Nanostone Water team to help grow our business in the MENA region. There is a huge potential for water and wastewater reuse opportunities in the MENA region where we face water treatment challenges with applications related to algal blooms, high turbidity, high suspended solids, and high organics. Nanostone Water will play a major role in supporting the MENA market. I would like to thank Omar-Khudari and the Nanostone Water Management for giving me this great opportunity to lead the MENA region.” Said Ali.
